Hector Toy is a Producer and Songwriter, with a keen intuition for the creation of music. He has spent years cultivating a detailed ear for both musical and sonic factors, allowing him to envision what a project requires to go from initial idea, to a completed and ‘Radio-Ready’ song.
Currently studying for an undergraduate degree in Music Production and Instrumental Performance at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute, Hector has been able to develop the key technical knowledge and sound engineering skills required to bring his visions to life.

He comes from an instrumental background, with a grounding in piano and drums, but a specialty in guitar, and most of all Bass, having studied these for a number of years at the London Guitar Academy.
During this time he was able to learn directly from Sam Harding (Bassist for Arlo Parks) https://www.samhardingmusic.com/about
and session legend; Hugh Burns (Gerry Rafferty, George Michael, etc) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugh_Burns_(musician), leading him to learn the art of serving the song, and how to musically support a central artist.
This environment, together with his exposure to experienced and successful musicians, and his long-standing instrumental versatility, has allowed Hector to become a potent force in the development of musical ideas, that when combined with his experience working as a live instrumentalist, and an acute interest in audio creation or capture, gives you the guidance you need to bring your musical identity to light and allow your art to reach its highest potential.
